How does the CCA method consider sediment size?
Reply by J Horrillo-Caraballo
In our application of the CCA method we have not considered the sediment size, only the beach morphology. The analysis could be extended to account for the sediment size distribution, but information on the sediment size is not as extensive as that for waves or beach shape.

As there is an ongoing need for Canterbury City Council to move the beach nourishment back to its intended position (i.e. protect the beach nourishment)? The function of Neptune’s arm was to do this, could you say that Neptune’s arm has failed its function?
