Rosa Agosto, MSEd is the chief learning officer at Urban Health Plan, a community health system in New York City. Rosa is the board chair of the Hunts Point Alliance for Children, which she helped found, and board secretary and co-founder of Dr. Richard Izquierdo Health & Science Charter School. She is a not for profit health and education executive, leading and transforming programs and services at the nation’s oldest and most impactful organizations, Children’s Aid, Educational Alliance, Learning Leaders, Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse. Rosa is a graduate of City College, NYU and Columbia University where she was a fellow; she is also a rehabilitation counselor and trained therapist.. She has lectured and presented at major conferences and universities across the country, and in the Netherlands where she worked towards improving education and health access. Rosa’s work is shaped by her immigrant experience and focus on her obligation to help change the world.
