A hearing aid (HA) is an electronic gadget used by people with hearing loss. Generally, several algorithms have been enhanced in the past to remove the noise signal occurring in the hearing aids. A binaurally linked single microphone device is used in HA to remove the noises occurring due to lower back directional interference. Using an emic as an HA attachment is commonplace. This book chapter describes the method for “HA signal augmentation” that combines the “signals of a microphone from the HAs and external-device.” The advantages of the emic’s body shielding for increasing HA signal are discussed in the book’s first part. The proposed design is implemented in MATLAB tool and has taken several frequencies with noises and is passed to the pre and post FIR filters which will remove the maximum noises and make the signal with high accuracy when compared with the other existing designs. The ratio between the signal and noise is also much less when compared with the other circuits.
