This chapter presents how the socio-economic approach (SEA) contributes to giving management control its dimension as a lever for change to improve the medium- and long-term performance of organizations. This analysis focuses more specifically on the theme of health. First, a synthesis of research-intervention shows how ESA implements change in a health organization based on the different stages of socio-economic intervention. Then, a second approach shows how ESA tools through standardization integrate the concern for occupational health to transform the organization.
