This chapter seeks to develop a widely variant blueprint for designing an ethics program within the context of a university or college. Although the authors currently reside in a business school and have undertaken and implemented many of the proposed suggestions contained in this paper (Weber, 2006), our belief is that an ethics program may be developed in any department or school in the university or college and may incorporate any number of the suggestions provided here. What follows are suggestions regarding what one might do, guidelines on how to do it well given our successful and not-so-successful experiences, and warnings of things to avoid or address in implementing an ethics program in an academic setting.
