Chapter 23: Society’s Gate Keepers

I think teachers deserve a higher starting salary.

Well actually, I think they deserve more in general annually.

I mean we give millions to individual athletes…

So, I’m sure we can afford to give more to those who we trust to teach, our children how to write and read.

I mean, to me, it’s obvious and honestly it boggles me how we don’t place a higher value on teachers in our society.

Literally in those seats, sit future leaders of education and microbiology.

Potentially a student with a future presidential candidacy.

And that’s why I believe no teacher should have to moonlight.
