The Wave (1981) Alexander Grasshoff (director), ABC Broadcasting. This film recreates a classroom experiment done by a high school teacher who set up strict rules and behavior codes in an effort to show how peer pressure, conformity, and loyalty could work in a classroom the same way they had in Nazi Germany (humanitas-international.org).
The Holocaust: In Memory of Millions (1994). Brian Blake, Discovery Channel. Journalist Walter Cronkite, speaking from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, narrates this story of a horrifying chapter in human history. Historical records, original footage and personal photographs combine to chronicle the rise of the Nazi P arty and their plan to exterminate the Jewish people; oral histories from survivors and liberators also present tales of bravery in the concentration camps (sfsu.edu).
