This chapter focuses on a video-based action research study and the use of the findings to make changes in the PDS Partnership. The study is the third in a series of five linked action studies that are part of Phase II of the partnership’s research project. The overall project goal is to change and improve PreK–12 classroom teaching and the clinical aspects of the college’s teacher education programs in an integrative way. The study seeks to (1) measure classroom teaching effectiveness with different rubrics, observational tools, and scorers and (2) identify the plausible causes of the students’ successful achievement of the learning outcomes of selected units of instruction.
