In this chapter we describe how a technology tool was used in an international context to support pre-service teachers’ learning. The Galapagos Finches software, part of the Biology Guided Inquiry Learning Environment (BGuILE) project, was integrated into a pre-service science methods course in Argentina to create a context for learning and teaching science with an inquiry approach. We document how the course instructor used this tool to support pre-service teachers’ learning of content, pedagogical content knowledge, and pedagogy. Suggestions on how technology can be integrated into new settings and implications for professional development in such settings are made.
