First page of Time or Not Time in Mind
What Is Temporality?

It is well known that the question of what time actually is has been widely discussed in philosophical science, resulting in various conceptions of “time”—time as order, measurable of movement, time as intuitive movement, time as the structure of possibility (Abbagnano, 2006; Galimberti, 2006)—that due to brevity will not be dealt with in this chapter. However, it cannot not be acknowledged how these concepts have without doubt affected science in general, including psychology. The concept of time is not usually studied in psychological science per se, although it has been widely used to explain several psychological phenomena. In fact, it becomes significant for psychological science due to it being considered a property of the nature of psychic phenomenon, or in other words, whether or not it is a constituent element of psychic phenomenon.
