This chapter focus upon the coconstruction of peace. My first goal is to clarify, from a cultural psychology perspective of affective-semiotic kind (Valsiner, 2014, 2019) how we conceive the moral-ethical dimension of human development and how moral values emerge, transform, and can be empowered throughout the individual lifespan. Next, in dialogue with the three previous chapters of this volume, I want to elaborate on the difficult challenges, dilemmas, and controversies those in the military need to face, both while serving in conflict zones as well as at home. Finally, I provide the reader with some reflections and suggestions concerning the coconstruction of peace, what seems to me to consist of a major mission and role of the military, together with defending their country from dangerous intruders and foreign attacks.
