Chapter 7: Coldiron Middle School Field Experience: Lessons From Clinical Experiences and Implications for Practice

This chapter reports on an established clinical field experience partnership between Kent State University Middle Childhood Education (MCED) and Coldiron Middle School. A brief overview of how the partnership began is presented and the specific model and relevant aspects of the partnership are discussed. Challenges to sustaining the model are examined and the chapter concludes with suggestions for others who are developing or in an integrated stage of clinical partnerships.
