Every day brings new evidence—from climbing temperatures, melting ice, acidifying seas, vanishing species—that the way in which our global industrialized civilization has chosen to conceptualize the world is leading us toward biocentric disaster. For the first time in human history, we have the ability to disrupt the natural systems that form the foundation of our world, systems without which our ability to survive as a species is in doubt.
To survive and thrive, we need to change the worldview that is failing us, to create a new set of behaviors that will paint a world in which sustainability and survival become the drivers of our civilization, rather than afterthoughts. And we need to understand how to change our beliefs and thinking in order to create such transformation.
