Chapter 19: Why Seam?

As I entered the restaurant, I quickly scanned the buzzing room crowded with evening diners. I wondered if I would recognize the celebrated French scholar midst all of the clientele hunched in quiet conversation. Henri Savall and I were not acquainted, however, the doctoral faculty in the Organization Development program at the University of St. Thomas knew him well, and the students talked about him in the hushed tones of respect typically reserved for a celebrated scholar. I zeroed in on a table with two gentlemen engaged in intense conversation and a woman with panache, and walked toward it at the same time the St. Thomas faculty hosts were arriving.
