First page of Changing Conceptions of Learning in Zhejiang Province, China, 2002–2004

This and the following chapter report upon an international program in educational leadership at Hangzhou, Normal University between 2002 and 2004. It involved a master of educational leadership degree delivered in bilingual mode by the University of Canberra, Australia. The authors were involved in the design, delivery, and evaluation of the program. The research involved an intensive case study which utilized semistructured interviews with 20 members of a cohort of 52 students. These interviews were conducted at the beginning and conclusion of an 18 month delivery schedule. Focus groups were conducted with the interview sample at the mid point of the program.
