This chapter describes the role of African spirituality in advancing education and well-being, with special reference to indigenous Zulu beliefs and practices. Special focus is given to ancient patterns, ancestral healing, divine mediation, faith healing, communal spirituality and meaningful human relationships, characterized by dignity and respect. Implications for health, community development and education are discussed.
