The development of human resources is one of the basic components of educational technology. To increase the effectiveness of individuals who design, develop, implement, and evaluate teaching and learning endeavors is one of the principles of educational technology. Thus, it might be suggested that the professional development of individuals dealing with educational technology should be addressed by educational technology researchers.
Faculty serve as primary human resources to help universities carry out their responsibilities of leading development and change in accordance with educational needs, meeting those educational needs by following structured steps, contributing to scientific endeavors, and updating their understanding of technology. The emphasis placed on professional development activities carries utmost importance in realizing the contemporary aims of higher education institutions since these activities help faculty to carry out their responsibilities appropriately. Among these responsibilities are adapting to new technologies, coping with changing work conditions, and increasing their ability to carry out academic activities such as teaching and research.
