It is a pretty strange task for me to talk about poetry, which is for me silence, something only possible to be translated into writing.

For this reason I bring here printed words—because about poetry I just can write, without intending any kind of literary criticism or analysis. I will talk about a poetical feeling, now intertwined with a research experience. Thus, I will narrate the story of a paper called The Underside of a Research, which was born in a period of intense concentration (almost obsession) when I was concluding my doctoral work. I hope I could be able to demonstrate how the field notes became intertwined with the autobiographic memories, both happening together during the time I was developing the field work. In the end of the chapter, I add a post note to inform the general context and goals of the research.
