When you have multiple sources of career assessment results such as interests, personality, abilities, and values, how can you integrate this assessment information for your client’s benefit? Career counseling professionals in individual practice or at career assessment clinics and centers have long faced the challenge of integrating assessment information. In this chapter, we examine the use of the Atlas Model of Individual Differences (Armstrong, Day, McVay, & Rounds, 2008; Armstrong & Rounds, 2010) to integrate values into the career assessment process. The Atlas provides a structured framework for presenting clients with assessment feedback that emphasizes connections among multiple sources of information and assists the client in developing a coherent picture of their vocational selves.
