In this chapter, we describe the various partnerships between a new laboratory school, multiple groups at the school’s partner university, and community groups that work together to support the school’s teachers and students. Various efforts relate to a priority of taking care of students’ basic needs and social-emotional learning while simultaneously supporting their academic growth. Recommendations are shared for those individuals who want to examine ways in which they can refine or scale-up partnerships between schools, universities, and community organizations.
