A virtuous intention is blessed by auspicious signs
—Bhutanese saying
In our day-to-day affairs, be it official or private, how we make the first move is very important. Every Bhutanese man or woman intending to venture into a business ensures that it begins on an auspicious day. A good beginning can inspire a positive working mood and the ensuing activities gain some kind of momentum as inspired by the initial outcomes. Even globally, the initial success gives additional energy to go on whereas a bad beginning spoils the mood from the very root. In Bhutan this beginning is considered quite seriously.
