Chapter 16: International Immersion Initiatives For Student Leader Development

To address the challenge of effectively developing future leaders’ capacity to conquer the intricacies of an increasingly interconnected global society, educators need to consider the methodologies by which they can develop cultural intelligence and other global leadership competencies in their students. International immersion initiatives, including study abroad programs, have proven to be an effective tool for this purpose.
