This chapter presents the development of a digital multiplatform for e-storytelling in the tourism of creative territories in Portugal. The project initially focused on defining creative territories by identifying regions in Portugal with distinctive attributes that position them as hubs of cultural and tourism creativity. A comprehensive survey and analysis were conducted on the attributes that define these territories as ‘creative’, encompassing elements such as cultural value, the presence of creative networks and local community involvement. Based on this analysis, a conceptual model of the platform was created, establishing the relationship between creative territories and the potential of e-storytelling as a tool for promoting and enhancing cultural heritage. This model illustrates how the digital platform integrates local agents, tourists and tourism professionals into a collaborative process of content creation, using digital narratives to amplify the visibility and impact of these territories on multiple scales — local, national and international. The platform not only promotes content co-creation but also drives sustainable development through the preservation and revitalisation of tangible and intangible heritage.
