The rise of the human–cobot relationship heralded by Industry 5.0 has received widespread recognition. Traditional notions of leadership are rapidly evolving as leaders are tasked with defining, implementing, and managing the transformations brought by Industry 5.0. While much research has centered on technological advancements, their applications, and the digital and managerial competencies needed, there is an increasing need to continually redefine leadership and management practices. This chapter aims to examine and present the emerging leadership styles suited for Industry 5.0. It explores how leaders can successfully guide and motivate teams in a highly automated, data-driven environment without compromising human values, creativity, and employee well-being. The chapter outlines unique features of Industry 5.0 and emphasizes the importance of understanding appropriate leadership approaches amid technological changes. It further provides insights into effective leadership styles and proposes recommendations to strengthen leadership in this new context. By addressing the research gap concerning leadership suited for Industry 5.0, the chapter contributes to management and organizational theory. The findings offer practical guidance for leaders and organizations seeking to adapt their practices to improve performance and employee satisfaction while encouraging further research in this evolving field.
