Purpose: This chapter aims to investigate how artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics (DA) are reshaping business education to better align with the demands of the digital economy. It highlights the pressing need for curriculum innovation and the integration of emerging technologies to bridge the growing skill gap in the corporate sector.

Design/methodology/approach: The study adopts a conceptual and literature-based approach to analyse the transformative role of AI and DA in educational environments. It critically examines existing models and presents a synergistic framework for integrating these technologies across learning, administration, and strategic planning.

Findings: The integration of AI and analytics enhances educational delivery through personalised learning, intelligent tutoring systems, automated assessment, and data-informed decision-making. These technologies also facilitate curriculum evolution, improve institutional efficiency, and provide predictive capabilities that support both students and administrators.

Originality/value: This chapter offers a comprehensive overview of how AI and DA can address the evolving challenges of business education. It contributes original thought on structuring ‘smart education’ systems that are agile, responsive, and digitally driven, thus serving as a strategic blueprint for higher education transformation.
