Abstract
This article aims to explore the relationship between green growth and green economy in the accomplishment of the sustainable development goals (SDGs) to transform the world. This study is important because a green economy concept is crucial at the global level. In the face of worsening resource constraints and climate crisis, the concept of a green economy is necessary to achieve SDGs. This study also determined that how greenwashing is a hindrance to green growth and achieving sustainable development since it diverts attention and resources from real environmental solutions to mere propositions. It erodes consumer confidence, discourages investment in truly green innovations and creates unfair competition with truly sustainable businesses. A secondary source of information was used to understand the relationship, and the results of the investigation demonstrate that a strong correlation between green growth and a green economy is an essential concept to achieve SDGs. This study is beneficial for policymakers to prepare policies in favour of green growth and green economy to achieve SDGs and transform the world towards sustainability.
