Artificial intelligence (AI) supplements Halal tourism through customized efficient practices that respect Muslim cultural preferences. The rising global Muslim travel market incorporates AI systems to transform how destination and service provider capabilities cater for religious and cultural needs of Muslim travelers. The implementations of AI for Halal tourism include customizable travel itinerary services combined with AI-driven customer assistance systems applied to smart city administration and active Halal standard audits. The chapter draws conclusions about the impact of AI on the quality and accessibility of services for Muslim tourists, while also building trust through a literature assessment and case studies from South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The discussion evaluates important ethical elements which cover automation bias alongside data protection together with requirements for Shariah-compliant AI development to demonstrate the importance of sensitivity toward cultural aspects during innovation. The paper looks at future trends, beginning with sustainable AI practices, predicts how ChatGPT will be used in customer service, and discusses how augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) can help people experience different cultures. The research enhances the literature on Halal tourism through practical advice it gives to both industry operators and policymakers.
