Purpose: This chapter aims to explore the transformative impact of robo-advisors and Financial technology (FinTech) solutions on the financial services industry. It seeks to understand the theoretical foundations, key trends, and research developments associated with these technologies, highlighting their potential to enhance financial inclusion, efficiency, and personalization.

Methodology: VOSviewer software was used for analysing the seminal and the recent studies on robo-advisory services to provide a robust understanding of the conceptual underpinnings and empirical developments in these domains.

Findings: The analysis reveals that robo-advisors and FinTech solutions have suggestively democratized access to financial services, making professional financial advice more accessible to a broader audience. The key trends identified include the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance transparency and the application of behavioural finance principles to mitigate cognitive biases in investment decisions.

Implications: The findings underscore the potential of robo-advisors and FinTech to transform the financial services landscape. For industry practitioners, the insights provide guidance on leveraging these technologies to enhance service delivery. For researchers, this chapter identifies emerging themes and gaps in the literature, suggesting avenues for research.
