Abstract
Environmental impacts created by tourism, such as greenhouse gas emissions, deforestation, and different kinds of pollution, are the basis on which a change toward sustainable practice is focused. The unsustainable methods have resulted in gross environmental problems, therefore requiring eco-friendly approaches to stop global warming. Enterprises reduce their environmental footprint by developing sustainable raw materials and ways of production that decrease their waste, gases, and other poisonous chemical emissions. Sustainable initiatives even enable firms to follow laws and avoid litigation. Eco-friendly products, like jute bags, handloom dresses, and clay ornaments, are gaining popularity and adding to the good reputation of the industry. Sustainable packaging, too, adds to the cause of least harm to the environment. Local and branded stores are increasingly offering products made of sustainable materials as demand for eco-friendly tourism increases. Such a transition not only advances environmental sustainability but also meets consumer preferences, which enables the tourism sector to be able to make its contribution towards environmental conservation and meet the growing market for sustainable products.
