This study explores the work–life conflict experienced by South Asian copreneurial couples, examining the interplay between long working hours, cultural expectations, gender roles and blurred work–life boundaries. Employing a qualitative research design, this study utilized in-depth interviews with entrepreneurship, psychology and sociology experts to understand the complexities of work–life conflict faced by South Asian copreneurial couples. The findings reveal that South Asian copreneurial couples grapple with a multifaceted work–life conflict influenced by long working hours, traditional gender roles and the blurred lines between work and personal life. These factors significantly impact the couples’ well-being and business performance. The study underscores the need for targeted interventions, such as flexible work arrangements, mental health support and gender equality initiatives, to address the specific challenges faced by South Asian copreneurial couples.
