SCM, as have other industries, has seen substantial changes due to the digital age. The incorporation of digital technologies into SCM has become more important as businesses adjust to the fast-growing technological breakthroughs and shifting market demands. The introduction of several technologies in this era has enhanced the performance of SCs. With this breakthrough, this work seeks to unleash the potential of digital technologies to revolutionise the SCs. It fills up the current research gaps and provides a thorough picture of how these technologies are refining the SCM landscape. SCM’s digital transformation is not a passing trend; rather, it is an essential evolution needed to meet the demands of today’s complex corporate environments. Today, technology-driven models like AI, the IoT, blockchain, and big data analytics (BDA) are replacing paper-based, linear, and manual procedures. Modern SCs are leveraging these technologies to enhance their performance (Christopher, 2016; Dubey et al., 2019). This chapter emphasises these technologies’ transformative role in harnessing SC efficiency, focusing more on their incorporation into SCM.
