The digital upheaval augmented by the worldwide health crisis, forced the organizations to restructure the workplace, prioritize flexibility. Because of this rapid change, the business practices have become boundary less – be it culturally, operationally, and geographically driving toward developing agile work approach like remote working, leveraging e-commerce platforms and embracing digital communication tools. The HR role has become fundamental in managing and navigating these changes. The old-style HR practices were more stuck in face-to-face connections, but transitions to remote or hybrid work have made it necessary to develop comprehensive re-evaluation of practices and policies to ensure their efficacy in digital environment, encircling recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, learning and development (L&D).
