This research aims to explore the implementation of effective strategies for data privacy and security in Techstrat, a technology strategy framework. The focus is on identifying critical security measures, assessing privacy concerns, and proposing a robust strategy that can be applied in technology-driven organisations to safeguard sensitive data while ensuring compliance with global data protection regulations. The study involved a comprehensive review of existing literature on data privacy and security frameworks, case studies of organisations using Techstrat, and expert interviews with cyber security professionals. Additionally, a survey was conducted among IT managers and data protection officers to assess the effectiveness of current strategies and the challenges faced in the implementation process. The study reveals that while many organisations recognise the importance of data privacy and security, the adoption of comprehensive strategies in line with Techstrat is limited. Key challenges identified include the lack of awareness, inadequate training, and resource constraints. However, the findings also demonstrate that by incorporating multi-layered security protocols, regular audits, and employee training programmes, organisations can significantly enhance their data protection measures. The research proposes a strategic framework for implementing effective data privacy policies that align with regulatory requirements and minimise risks. It provides a unique blend of theoretical and practical insights, offering a clear roadmap for enhancing data protection strategies in tech-focussed environments. The findings hold value for IT professionals, data protection officers, and organisational leaders seeking to improve their data privacy initiatives and comply with evolving global standards.
