In recent years, the convergence of fashion, tourism, and the pursuit of sustainable development goals (SDGs) has emerged as the primary focus of scholarly investigation and practical significance to policymakers and industry practitioners. The present study synthesizes existing research on the interplay between fashion tourism and SDGs. A comprehensive search was conducted on Google Scholar using key terms such as “fashion tourism,” “SDGs,” and related concepts. The selected papers, sourced through keywords on Google Scholar, form the basis for investigating the relationship between these two domains. The retrieved papers were meticulously reviewed, and those directly contributing to the understanding of the symbiotic association between fashion tourism and SDGs were included. Beginning with an exploration of the multifaceted dynamics of fashion tourism, the review outlines its economic, social, and environmental impacts. Subsequently, it delves into the SDG framework, providing a comprehensive overview of the global objectives and their relevance to the fashion tourism. Drawing insights from case studies, best practices, and emerging trends, this chapter elucidates how the fashion tourism industry can contribute substantially to the achievement of SDGs. By embracing the symbiotic relationship between fashion tourism and SDGs, there exists an opportunity to weave sustainability into the fabric of this dynamic sector, fostering a more equitable, responsible, and resilient future. The insights presented herein aim to guide future endeavors in advancing the mutually beneficial association between fashion tourism and SDGs. These findings cater to researchers, policymakers, and industry practitioners interested in fostering a sustainable and responsible fashion tourism sector.
