Achieving quality education for all, as envisaged by the United Nations SDG-4, is a challenging task for the developing countries. Sri Lanka, with its economic ups and downs, has made considerable progress in the field of education in the last decade; however there are pitfalls that need attention to improve the quality of education. The present chapter aims to provide an overview of Sri Lanka's educational initiatives toward quality improvement in education from 2015 to 2023. They referred to the government documents and other resources to cull out the same. That included major policy initiatives, policy implementations, and innovative plans proposed. The study further suggests the way forward toward quality improvements of Sri Lankan education at various levels. The study suggests that future researchers to take up impact analysis of the quality initiatives taken and satisfaction surveys from various stakeholders.
