The connection between tourism and migration is intricate, especially in popular destinations like Bali, Indonesia. Tourists’ visits can lead to migration, prompting individuals to settle permanently in these locations. This form of migration, notably by job-seeking individuals, impacts Bali’s social, economic, cultural, and environmental landscape. This chapter explores the effects of internal tourism migration on Bali’s local community. It aims to analyze the social, economic, cultural, and environmental consequences of migration in Bali through in-depth interviews. The findings will equip decision-makers with valuable insights to enhance Bali’s appeal as a destination.
