This chapter explores the role of embedding sustainable practices, employee-centric circular happiness, and purpose-driven business models (PDBMs) for attaining sustainable competitive advantage. The chapter is strongly underpinned by a range of theories, such as the triple bottom line (TBL), stakeholder theory, resource-based theory (RBT), innovation theories, Porter, and Kramer’s shared value model (PK-SVM), biophilic design, theories of organisational citizenship and theories of sustainability. The aim is to enhance employee engagement, employee happiness and purpose-driven, sustainable, competitive advantage of the organisation. The chapter also highlights the key principles of circular happiness economy, sustainability, and their role in the purpose-driven growth of the business.
