This chapter tells part of the story from Philippine Duchesne, a French nun from the 18–19th Centuries who could be described as one of the pioneers of social entrepreneurship since she created schools to welcome girls from deprived families. Besides, she succeeded in realizing her dream that is to live with native nations, especially in the United States. This story of her life focuses on how she navigated in a patriarchal system without challenging nor contradicting it.
