Abstract
This chapter explores the intersection of gender and neurodivergence in entrepreneurial activity, an underexplored phenomena in the global entrepreneurship field. Phenomenological methodology is applied to better understand the lived experiences of being female with neurodiverse traits, including the decision criteria for starting an enterprise as well as opportunities and challenges along the entrepreneurial path. Results highlight that neurodiversity can provide entrepreneurial strengths and can serve as an impetus for pursuing entrepreneurship; however, being a female neurodiverse entrepreneur can present unique challenges.
