Due to the advancement of ICTs and, especially, what is called the intangibilization or dematerialization of the economy, and their impact on manufacturing, agro, and the sector itself, services have come to represent the largest share of GDP, employment, FDI, and international trade growth, trends which will deepen in the coming years. In fact, the pandemic has represented a successful concept test for Global Services (GS). Once again, they have proved resilient, which is shown by lower decrease in export rates compared to the international goods trade and even to traditional services, and by the stability and even increase in employment and productivity rates.
