Beyond the suggestion of hard law instruments and codes of conduct, the analysis recommends the introduction of certification mechanisms that may provide an additional incentive to employers to comply with the established and proposed legal norms in the employment context. These mechanisms are supplemented by standards for the responsible development and deployment of AI-enabled workplace monitoring tools.
