8: Concluding Remarks

I have always found that the first and the last chapters of a book are the most difficult to write. The same is true for a journal article. For this book, the first chapter came to paper fairly easily because it was a chapter that simply set the stage for a description of the NRJVD in the chapters that would follow. Summarizing all of the empirical findings in this final chapter seems to me to be insulting to the reader who can easily refer to the NRJV survey instrument in the Appendix to Chapter 3 and then trace the descriptive analysis of the survey questions in order throughout the chapters that followed.
