Chapter 2: Literature Review

Exploring and identifying the theoretical context of study area is the base for any research project, which will lead to an appropriate research framework. A review of academic background establishes the arguments presented in the current study taking that are eventually derived from those existing bits of knowledge. Additionally, an empirical assessment of available literature scientifically justifies and validates the significance of questions addressed in the current study. This section aims to consolidate the information related to the theoretical background of online healthcare services and provide the necessary explanatory platform for the research. Available studies and proven frameworks were evaluated empirically to understand the behaviours of different entities in online healthcare practices. Those observations were strategically consolidated to understand the natures and implications in the Indian healthcare space.
