Music has been used throughout history as a mechanism to trigger reactions, memories and reflection (Scherer, 2004). Although these triggers often have both positive and negative responses from listeners, music has the ability to inform our reflection within leadership development. This activity will provide participants with a better understanding of how reflection through music can expand their views on leadership.

The compilation should be played for the larger group to start a dialogue around reflection and leadership. The overall goal is to discuss how leadership is displayed in music culture.
