Testimonio: Leader Profile

Testimonio is a form of storytelling derived from the Latinx culture that intentionally includes affirmation and empowerment (The Latina Feminist Group, 2001; Reyes & Curry Rodríguez, 2012). Testimonio is a form of reflection where individuals share their experiences with others in various forms such as writing, speaking, or visuals (Reyes & Curry Rodríguez, 2012). For this activity, participants will be writing the testimonio of their chosen leader. Participants will be given the opportunity to practice testimonio by creating a leader profile and presenting it in small and large groups.
