Faculty Developers are challenged to support teaching and learning in ways that are relevant, interesting, and accessibility to busy faculty. This training approach brings just-in-time teaching strategies to faculty at a time that is already scheduled by including 30-minute interactive workshops during each monthly department meeting over the entire academic year. As a result, faculty receive strategies that are specific to their teaching needs and in alignment with the natural course of the semester. Part-time and adjunct faculty receive teaching support along with their colleagues, increasing departmental community as faculty share their experience and wisdom with each other. This chapter lays out the process of taking faculty development “on the road,” the format and topics of the workshops, and ideas for continued use based on faculty evaluations and feedback.
