This chapter explores how entrepreneurs navigated the post-COVID-19 digital transformation, aiming to understand how crisis conditions accelerated innovation and reshaped the foundation of entrepreneurial success. Using qualitative interviews with 21 tech-savvy entrepreneurs across different sectors, the study uncovers how digital adaptation became not just a strategic option but a survival requirement. Entrepreneurs engaged in rapid business model reinvention invested heavily in digital infrastructure and tapped into emerging “digital opportunity voids” across e-commerce, telehealth, cybersecurity, and remote work. Key themes include accelerated digital transformation, operational efficiency gains, and crisis-forged technology adoption. The findings support and extend entrepreneurial theory, particularly the resource-based view (RBV), highlighting digital capabilities as critical competitive advantages. The research underscores the importance of agility, cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI) integration, and cybersecurity in the new digital economy. While qualitative in design, the study sets the stage for future mixed-methods research to assess long-term impacts and ethical implications of emerging tech. It also previews the next chapters, which delve into AI, blockchain, and the metaverse as tools for competitive innovation.
