This book sets out to explore a timely and critical question: how is AI transforming the landscape of KM, and what are the implications for individuals, organisations, and society at large? Over the course of its chapters, we have traced the historical evolution of knowledge management; dissected the mechanisms of AI integration; examined current tools and practices; and reflected on the ethical, strategic, and human dimensions of this ongoing transformation. At its core, KM is about the deliberate and systematic coordination of people, processes, and technology to enable the creation, sharing, and application of knowledge. With the advent of AI, the traditional boundaries of KM have been redrawn. AI has accelerated knowledge discovery, enabled real-time insights, personalised knowledge delivery, and made it possible to manage vast and unstructured datasets that were once beyond the reach of human processing.
