To inform this section of the book, research data were collected from 31 higher education institutions across the English-speaking Caribbean. Previous research found that the majority of higher education institutions in the Caribbean have a plagiarism policy (Baker-Gardner, 2022), but this preliminary research was not designed to determine what other elements of the academic integrity programme were present; hence, further research was needed. Compared to other aspects of academic integrity that are frequently studied, research on evaluation of academic integrity systems in higher education institutions is missing from the literature, possibly since academic integrity is a relatively new field when compared to other aspects of higher education. There is therefore a dearth of literature on this aspect of academic integrity internationally. This chapter outlines the methodology used in this study designed to collect and analyse data on the academic integrity practices of 31 higher education institutions in the Caribbean.
