This chapter discusses some of the permitted reasons for termination, specifically insolvency, late payment, stopping or not starting the works, force majeure, and health and safety. It sets out the procedure to be followed if either Party wishes to terminate the contract. It explains the Contractor's entitlement to payment, including loss of profit in the form of the fee percentage applied to the remaining work, and the Client's entitlement to recover the cost of completing the works.
